CAMPSITE FOOD
You can bring as much food as you wish to consume in the campsite.
Please pay attention to food and cooking temperatures as this could result in illness.
As this site is a farm, there have been animals on the land, although they have been removed a number of weeks ago – please be aware that animal dung contains e coli.
Please remember to wash your hands regularly or use alcohol hand gel.
STOVES
Type allowed:
Stoves which use butane cartridges and screw on bottles no bigger than 500g in total.
For example a butane cartridge is around 220g each so you can have 2 (440g) Please store responsibly.
Single or 2 ring – this will give you the ability to efficiently heat water for a brew and cook food effectively. Please see the example below.
If everybody adopts the same system then we can always help each other out and maybe, we could stock them in future in the campsite shop (coming 2025)
N.B: YOU MUST NOT OPERATE THESE STOVES ON THE GRASS, THEY SHOULD BE ON A STABLE TABLE 50CM (1/2M) RAISED OF THE FLOOR – AWAY FROM YOUR TENT.
FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN CONFISCATION.
Tables for this purpose are available from many camping outlets as well as Argos, Amazon etc.
Do not operate the stove on the grass – Grass is combustible even when damp!
