N.B. There will be searches when entering the ARENA
You are not permitted to bring alcohol in any form into the Arena.
All bottles & cans must be unopened.
NO PLASTIC BOTTLES over 500ml & 330ml cans of soft drinks are acceptable, refillable bottles must be no bigger than 500ml.
No large bottles over 500ml as they can be used as a missile if thrown, A litre of water weighs 1KG.
Reusable Drinks bottles must be empty.
Drinking Water is readily available for free from around the area.
The bars can fill your bottle with chilled filtered water if you ask them nicely.
If you bring a trolley to the arena you will have to unload it to be searched.
Hot food will not be permitted into the arena.
Please do not cook food in the campsite and bring it into the arena.
The following cold/chilled foods can be taken into the arena:
Sandwiches
Crisps
Chocolate
Nut bars
Sausage rolls etc
Fruit
Baby food
Special dietary food
You will only be able to use the camping chairs in the designated zone.We have large screens so you will be able to view the stage from this position without impeding people who wish to stand, dance, and experience the festival in their own way, this is fair to all.
If you wish to use a picnic blanket, you will have to sit inside of the camping chair zone or outside of it - in an area located behind the back of house for the main stage. Or any area away from foot traffic.
NO GLASS / METAL CUTLERY OR BREAKABLE PLATES.
You will be required to take your chair out of its bag, if it has one, to speed things up entering the arena please do this before security checkpoint if you can.
Please be aware that this is a music festival and people may step on your blanket, please accept this as your problem, potencial obstructions of this kind will be policed by security, and you will be asked to move if you impede any emergency routes or walkways.
Please be aware of not littering walkways with chairs, cool boxes, blankets and picnics as it is vital that emergency help is not hindered in the event of an emergency.
Cool boxes / cool bags / chairs – please be aware of the above points and that your equipment is bought into the arena at your own risk.
No tents allowed in the main arena for the reasons above.
If you need to use a small sunscreen tent for a child, then this must fit into a footprint of:
150cm square / 1.5m x 1.5m
and be no higher than
120cm / 1.2m
If you wish to use this then you must go into the seating zone as to not cause an obstruction and protect your child from foot traffic.
WE OPERATE A REUSABLE CUP SYSTEM; THEY ARE AVAILABLE AT THE BAR FOR PURCHASE.
You will need to rinse your cup from time to time, so we have provided Cup Washing Stations which are sited near to the bars for you to clean your cups, please clean your cups before reusing your cup, as the bars cannot do this for you.
The cup wash works by turning your cup upside down and gently pushing down, PLEASE MIND YOUR EYES AS THE WATER IS UNDER PRESSURE AND WILL SPRAY UP.
Are supplied in all areas of the festivals and contain handwashing facilities.
They are constantly monitored and kept clean, if you encounter a problem with the toliets, please advise the staff at the festival help desk situated in the arena.
